-For your final project you may choose one of the subject matters
we explored during the semester (still-life, portrait/self-portrait,
landscape, or interior), or you may combine any number of these
genres together.
-You may choose one or more of the media we explored in class (charcoal,
graphite pencils, ink and ink wash) to complete the drawing.
-The drawing must be done from careful observation (no photographs
or abstract or imagined images).
-You must choose something that can be worked on in class as well
as at your residence, as a percentage of your final project grade
is based on working on the project in class on 5/1/06 and 5/3/06.
-The project must be 22”x30” or larger in size. You may purchase this paper from me for $.25
-You must also pay special attention to the way you present this
project to the class. Think about using a mat board or frame.
-In class on Monday May 8th, you will present your project to
the class and we will have an group critique on all of the projects.
-You will also need to turn in a completed Final Project Questionnaire
at that time.
-The Final Project Questionnaire will be distributed at the end
of class on 5/3/06.
