Final
Project Examples
For your final project
you may choose one of the subject matters we explored during the
semester (still-life, portrait/self-portrait, landscape, or interior),
or you may combine any number of these projects together. You
may choose one or more of the media we explored in class (charcoal,
graphite pencils, ink and ink wash) to complete the project. The
drawing must be done from careful observation (no photographs
or abstract or imagined). You must choose something that can be
worked on in class as well as at your residence, as a percentage
of your final project grade is based on working on the project
in class on the last 2 days of classes. The project must be 22”x30”
or larger in size. You must also pay special attention to the
way you present this project to the class. Think about using a
mat board or frame. |
